An air conditioner is provided to dispose discharge holes around a suction hole in the shape of circle for discharging heat exchanged air into a room in every direction without any dead zones, and mount louvers for each of the discharge holes to be driven by using a single motor. An air conditioner includes a case of which a side is opened, and a front panel(20) mounted to the opened side of the case. A suction grill(21) is disposed in the center of the front panel and a plurality of discharge holes(22) are disposed around the suction grill, wherein the discharge holes are disposed in the shape of circle. The discharge holes are mounted with louvers(23) respectively for guiding air flow and opening or closing the discharge holes. The louvers are driven by a louver driving unit, which is mounted to an inner surface of the front panel and has a single motor(25).
