APPARATUS FOR PREVENTING FREEZE OF HEAT EXCHANGER IN HEAT PUMP AIR-CONDITIONER

An antifreezing device for a heat exchanger of a heater pump type air conditioner is provided to form an antifreezing film on a surface of an outdoor heat exchanger by spraying an antifreezing solution thereto, thereby preventing freezing of the heat exchanger without carrying out any defrosting mode. An antifreezing device for a heat exchanger of a heater pump type air conditioner includes a storage tank(10) for receiving an antifreezing solution. At least one pressure pump(30) is mounted to a first pipe(70) and presses the antifreezing solution supplied from the storage tank toward at least one spraying nozzle(40). The spraying nozzle sprays the antifreezing solution supplied from the storage tank by the pressure pump to an outdoor heat exchanger(6) for preventing freezing of the heat exchanger.
