A battery receiving device in a remote controller is provided to distribute the force of a spring, fixing a battery, to a protrusion of the battery, supported at an inner side within an insertion groove when the remote controller drops. A battery receiving device in a remote controller comprises an insertion groove(11) includes the followings: the first support(17) placed in location adjacent to the front(9) of a case(5); and the second support(18) placed in location adjacent to the rear(10) of the case(5). The height of the first support(17) is higher than the second support(18) as much as a predetermined length so that the battery, received within the case(5), can be slant at a predetermined degree and supported. The inserting groove(11) is formed so that a protrusion part(15) of the battery can be supported at the inside of the inserting groove(11) as being grounded with an anode contact terminal(12).
