<p>The system has to be installed in both of two vehicles (B) driving behind one another in a particular traffic situation. Both vehicles (B) are equipped with distance sensors in order to determine the distance from a vehicle (B) in front. The information is transmitted to the on-board computer and compared with the reference data for a safe distance. If the distance is shorter, a warning text is displayed on a screen (B3) at the rear (B4) of the first vehicle, or the data are transmitted (B5) to the second car and an appropriate visual or acoustic signal is given inside.</p> |
