APPARATUS FOR PROVIDING PANORAMIC STEREO IMAGES WITH ONE CAMERA

An apparatus for obtaining panoramic stereo images with a single camera is provided to enhance the 3-dimensional restoration resolution and achieve the miniaturization thereof. The first image providing member(200) and the second image providing member(210) reflect the circumference environment of 360 degrees at an effective view point and transmit the reflected images to an imaging member(220) such as a CCD(Charge Coupled Device) of a camera and the like. The two reflected images are focused to the imaging member. The focused images are transmitted to a panorama image converting member(230) so that the center image and circumferential image are converted into the panorama images. A three-dimensional position information extracting member(240) searches the corresponding points of the panorama images and extracts 3-dimensional position information such as distance information of each object.
