A card connector (1) of the present invention includes; a housing (3) which forms a card storage space (5) into which a card (2) is inserted from an opening (6), and which is furnished with an input-output terminal that corresponds to an electrode section of the card (2); a slider (9) that is movable along an insertion and ejection direction of the card (2), and a position thereof is switchable between a first position, and a second position that is on a further side from the opening (6) than the first position, by a heart cam mechanism (10); a coil spring (13) that biases the slider (9) in an ejection direction of the card (2); and a contact section (23) that is integrally formed on the slider (9), and is contactable with an insertion direction end section of the card (2). The coil spring (13) is fitted to a shaft (12) installed movably relative to the slider (9).
