TERRESTRIAL DMB SERVICE SYSTEM FOR UNDERGROUND RAILWAY

A terrestrial DMB(Digital Multimedia Broadcasting) service system for a subway is provided to remove the necessity for separately installing a repeater in a tunnel section of a subway, thus a DMB service can be supplied to the tunnel section of the subway at low cost. Donor antennas(1) receive terrestrial DMB signals to provide the received signals to master devices(100). The master devices(100) amplify the DMB signals to output the amplified signals. Service antennas(2) are installed in subway station buildings, and deliver the DMB signals outputted from the master devices(100) as RF(Radio Frequency) signals. An LCX(Leaky Coaxial Cable)(5) is installed in a tunnel section between the subway station buildings. Combiners(4) are electrically combined with the master devices(100), and combine the DMB signals outputted from the master devices(100) with the LCX(5).
