A lifesaving device using a discus is provided to make easy-to-use lifesaving devices by simply constituting the device to readily insert the device adjacent to a person to be rescued. A lifesaving device using a discus includes a main body(20), and a rope(90). The main body has a buoyance member, and a guide member. The buoyance member has a predetermined thickness of disk shape. The guide member is formed at an upper periphery in a circular shape. The rope has one end fixed to an upper surface of the main body, and is wound on the upper surface of the main body. The rope has a rectangular cross-section, and is formed at the same level as the guide member.
