<p>A control method of an air conditioner is provided to display setting for blackout compensation operation or releasing of the setting by a display unit, thereby helping users to drive the air conditioner as desired. A control method of an air conditioner includes a memory(10) storing information on operation states of the air conditioner, and a control part(20) for carrying out blackout compensation operation in response to re-supply of power on the basis of the information stored in the memory in the case of blackout. A blackout compensation switch(30) is to set the blackout compensation operation of the control part or release the setting.
