A remote controller having a voice recognition function is provided to enable a controller to recognize a digital signal outputted from a voice input unit and read an operation control signal corresponding to the digital signal before applying the read operation control signal to a signal transmitting unit, thereby easily controlling electronic devices without operating the remote controller and preventing failure of the remote controller by reducing the number of a user operates the remote controller. A remote controller having a function of voice recognition comprises the followings: a voice input unit(100) which converts a voice signal of a user into a predetermined digital signal; a memory(120) in which an operation control signal, preset according to the voice signal, is recorded; a signal transmitting unit(130) which generates a signal according to the inputted operation control signal; and a controller(140) which recognizes the digital signal outputted from the voice input unit(100), reads the operation control signal corresponding to the digital signal, and applies the read operation control signal to the signal transmitting unit(130).
