A water softener tank that produces clean and pure soft water by mixing 0.01 to 30 wt.% of nanosilver with a material of a water softener tank body or forming a nanosilver plating film with a thickness of 0.01 to 50 micrometers on the water softener tank body using fine nanosilver powder with a particle size of 0.01 to 300 nm, thereby sterilizing bacilli, pathogenic bacteria, colon bacilli and microorganisms of water contained in the water softener tank is provided. In a water softener tank which is made of a metal, synthetic resin, plastic or poly-based material, and in which a softener resin for water softener for softening water is contained, the water softener tank is characterized in that 0.01 to 30 wt.% of nanosilver powder is mixed with a material of a water softener tank body(10) based on the total weight of the water softener tank. The nanosilver powder is plated on the water softener tank body in an amount of 0.01 to 30 wt.% based on the total weight of the water softener tank. The nanosilver powder injected into the water softener tank has a particle size of 0.01 to 300 nm. The nanosilver powder is plated on the water softener tank body to form a plating film with a thickness of 0.01 to 50 micrometers.
