The system has a fuel operated heating device provided in a housing attached to a vehicle, where the device has a burner area and a heat exchanger area for transmission of heat to air running-through a housing. The heat is provided in the burner area. Conducting openings (36, 38) for a conduit leading to or from a heating device is provided in the housing, where a flexible sealing unit (54) closes the openings in a tight manner.
