A method for interchanging MARC(MAchine-Readable Cataloging) data is provided to reduce personnel expenses by computerizing all processes for ordering, inspecting, and delivering a book, and making the MARC data of the book, and offer lots of MARC data at once by sharing and using the MARC data through mutual input of the MARC data. A customer, a bookstore and a library send an order sheet through an email or facsimile by viewing information uploaded to a website from a book service company. The books received from the book service company are automatically processed by reading an ISBN(International Standard Book Number) of the books with a POS(Point Of Sale) reader(S203). The MARC data to be mutually inputted, shared, and used is made by inputting book information to a computer system. Transaction is completed by outputting a delivery or estimate sheet according to order information(S212). |
