A prism sheet for a backlight unit is provided to improve the brightness of light, by providing a diffusion part for diffusing the light incident from a light guiding plate within the prism sheet. A prism sheet includes a prism sheet support part(400), a base part(410), and a prism shaping part(430). A diffusion part(420) is formed within the base part. The diffusion part diffuses the light incident through the prism sheet support part, and emits the incident light to the prism shaping part. The diffusion part is upwardly extended to the prism shaping part. The diffusion part is composed of convex lenses. |
