Provided is an afforestation material for a slope, which stabilizes incised earth, and supplies a sufficient amount of water to plants for a long time by using a highly absorptive PVA polymer to facilitate germination of seeds and to increase growth of plants. The afforestation material for stabilizing a slope comprises base soil such as weathered granite soil and clay soil and a curing agent such as a chemical fertilizer. The afforestation material is mixed with a highly absorptive PVA(polyvinyl alcohol) polymer as a soil stabilizer and various plants and water, and then is applied onto the slope. The highly absorptive PVA polymer is distributed uniformly in the afforestation material, supplies water required for the germination of plants with no need for continuous feed of water, and is gelled so as to be attached firmly to the slope, thereby preventing loss of the plants. |
