A method for storing call reception/origination records by using a GPS(Global Positioning System) in a mobile communication terminal and a device therefor are provided to store location information together with call reception/origination records by using the GPS of the terminal, when the call reception/origination records of the terminal are stored, so as to conveniently perceive where the user makes and receives a call. When a call between a user and the other party is terminated(303), a GPS unit of a mobile communication terminal communicates with a satellite to send the current location of the terminal to a GPS server, and the GPS server transmits the current location information of the terminal to the terminal. When the current location information of the terminal is received from the GPS server(306), the received location information is stored together with call reception/origination records of the corresponding call(309). |
