DRIVING METHOD FOR LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY PANEL

A method for driving an LCD panel is provided to improve the resolution without additional memories and complicated algorithms, by transmitting horizontal gate signals of one frame to the LCD panel and displaying the frame on the LCD panel using a column version driving method. An LCD panel is composed of M gate lines and N data lines. A frame for driving the LCD panel includes a first field and a second field. Each of the first and the second field includes L horizontal gate lines. A driving method of the LCD panel includes sequentially receiving and transmitting horizontal gate signals of the first field to display the first field on the LCD panel, and then sequentially receiving and transmitting horizontal gate signals of the second field to display the second field on the LCD panel.
