<p>A method for automatically setting a particular radio broadcasting channel number is provided to be capable of deciding on the current area by searching a tuning frequency value for a predetermined radio station, and of automatically setting a channel number for the particular radio station corresponding to the current area, thus user convenience is realized. A tuning frequency value for a predetermined radio station preset within an apparatus is searched/confirmed(S10,S11). Based on the confirmed tuning frequency value, the current area is decided on(S12-S15). According to the decided current area, a channel number for the particular radio station is automatically set(S16). When the channel number is automatically set, a traffic and weather broadcasting channel number is automatically set according to the decided current area.</p> |
