A method for executing a low voltage holding program of a microprocessor in cranking is provided to improve the driving stability of an engine by executing a crank signal processing program copied in a RAM(Random Access Memory) if the voltage of a battery is decreased to a first voltage level in cranking and executing the crank signal processing program stored in a flash memory if the output voltage of a regulator reaches a second voltage level after completing cranking. A method for executing a low voltage holding program of a microprocessor in cranking includes steps of: receiving the output voltage of a regulator through a microprocessor and checking whether the output voltage of the regulator corresponds to a first voltage level or not, in starting cranking after a starter key is turned on(101,103,105,107); copying a crank signal processing program in a RAM installed in the microprocessor if the output voltage of the regulator corresponds to the first voltage level and executing the copied crank signal processing program(109,111); and checking whether to finish cranking or not by the microprocessor, checking whether the output voltage of the regulator corresponds to a second voltage level or not, if the cranking is concluded, and executing the crank signal processing program stored in a flash memory again if the output voltage corresponds to the second voltage level(113,115,117).
