DISH WASHER AND CONTROLLING METHOD OF THE SAME

A dish washer and a control method of the same are provided to completely remove the scraps and increase the washing efficiency of the dishes by adding the pre-washing step of alternately operating the steam supply step and the water injection step. A dish washer comprises: a tub(18) for receiving dishes; a door(2) for opening and closing the opened surface of the tub; nozzles(14,15,24) arranged in the tub to inject the water to the dishes; and a steam generator(20) for generating the steam and supplying the steam into the tub. The pre-washing stroke of alternately operating a steam supply step of supplying the steam and a water injection step of injecting the water without detergent is operated. The washing performance of the dishes is elevated by including the pre-washing step of alternately operating the steam supply step and the water injection step.
