An intensive purification wetland that remarkably reduces area of a plot by combining a filtering wetland with a porous ceramic-based media filled bioreactor, maximizes purification effect by using a porous packing with a plurality of pores in the bioreactor and the filtering wetland, and has excellent reduction effect of BOD, suspended solids, nitrogen and phosphorous by filtering, degrading, adsorbing and absorbing actions of the wetland, and a method for purifying river water using the same are provided. In an intensive purification wetland comprising a porous ceramic-based media filled bioreactor and a filtering wetland, the intensive purification wetland is characterized in that the bioreactor comprises: a freshwater tank having an inlet and an outlet formed at both sides thereof; and a filter layer(210) comprising a first pellet layer(211), a bio-stone layer(212), a second pellet layer(213), a zeolite layer(214), and an air ejection layer(215) sequentially laid up on the bottom of the freshwater tank, and the filtering wetland comprises: a freshwater tank which is formed of a waterproofing sheet or nonwoven fabric, has an inlet and an outlet formed at both sides thereof, and has a perforated pipe formed on the bottom thereof; a filter layer comprising a first pellet layer, a bio-stone layer, a zeolite layer, an air ejection layer and a second pellet layer sequentially laid up on the bottom of the freshwater tank, and rock wool installed on upper portions of the first pellet layer, the bio-stone layer and the zeolite layer respectively; and an aquatic plant layer planted in an upper portion of the filter layer. |
