THERMOSETTING RESIN COMPOSITION FOR PROTECTING DISPLAY COLOR FILTER

Provided is a curing resin composition for protecting a display color filter which is improved in alkali resistance, acid resistance and chemical resistance and is excellent in storage stability. The curing resin composition comprises 60-98.8 mol% of a curing resin which comprises norbornene or its derivative, a polymer obtained by the addition polymerization of at least one monomer having an ether group and an olefin double bond, or by the addition polymerization of the monomer and other monomer having no functional group capable of reacting with an ether group, and a polymer obtained by the addition polymerization of a styrene-based monomer; 1-50 mol% of an epoxy compound; 0.1-10 mol% of a heat latent initiator; and 0.1-1 mol% of a surfactant. Preferably the curing resin is represented by the formula 1, wherein R, R3 and R5 are H or a C1-C2 alkyl group; R1 is a direct bond or -C(=O)O-; R2 is a vinyl group or an allyl group; R4 is an epoxy group or a C1-C3 alkyl group; and R6 is benzene or a benzene derivative.
