MULTI-CHANNEL MAC METHOD FOR WLAN DEVICES WITH SINGLE RADIO INTERFACE

A multi-channel MAC(Medium Access Control) method for a single wireless interface WLAN(Wireless Local Area Network) device is provided to remove a need to equip a device having a multi-wireless interface, while simple and extended frameworks are supported in different traffic scenarios. A window repeated at a cycle P and a channel coordination window continued for a certain time from a starting point of the window P are initiated. Random device pairs on a common channel are assigned to a destination channel by using a channel usage vector indicating whether to use each of N channels during the channel coordination window. The random device pairs are switched to the destination channel.
