PASTE COMPOSITION OF GLASS SEALING FOR PDP

A glass sealing paste composition for a PDP(Plasma Display Panel) is provided to secure good viscosity stability and sealability and to reduce bubbles generated on the inner surface of a sealing layer after plasticizing. The glass sealing paste composition for a PDP contains frit of 60~99wt.% and organic vehicle of 1~40wt.%. The organic vehicle consists of an acrylate binder of 0.1~10wt.%, BCA(Butyl Carbitol Acetate) of 1~11wt.% as a solvent, and terpineol of 1~2wt.% as a modifier. Therefore, the viscosity stability is increased more than an existing glass sealing paste composition using nitro cellulose organic vehicle by using the acrylate organic vehicle with good viscosity controllability. In addition, temperature condition and time for a process for sealing upper and lower glasses are reduced by forming a sealing layer by low-temperature plasticizing.
