A method and a device for automatically setting email addresses are provided to automatically set the email address by receiving information for sender address information from an external storage medium and receiving receiver address information from an SMTP(Simple Mail Transfer Protocol) server with a sender address in case that an email is sent from an MFP(Multi Function Printer) by using a scan-to-email function. An RFID(Radio Frequency IDentification) information receiver(120) receives the sender address information from an RFID tag(161) storing the sender address information and attached to an ID card(160). A controller(110) sets the sender address by using the sender address information, requests data for the receiver address information to the SMPT server(180) by using the sender address, and transmits the email by setting the data received from the SMPT server as the receiver address. A user interface(140) makes a user to select one receiver address by displaying the data received from the SMPT server in the case that multiple data is received from the SMPT server. |
