A customized location inquiry local information service system using a location of a mobile communication terminal and a method thereof are provided to supply a customized local information service by using subscriber information and time information in addition to location and map services when a location inquiry service is used, thus a user can use a lot of information. A terminal(100) demands a location inquiry to a local information server(200). The local information server(200) demands the location inquiry of the terminal(100) to an LBSP(Location Based Service Provider)(400), demands local information generation to a local information generation engine(300), and receives the location inquiry demand of the terminal(100) as delivering local information. The local information generation engine(300) receives the local information generation demand of the server(200), and delivers a local information generation response. The LBSP(400) receives the location inquiry demand of the server(200), and delivers a response for the location information.
