A user authentication method and a user authentication system are provided to perform rapidly a user authentication process according to a user confirmation message by storing previously bio information of a user. A storage process stores bio information of a user in a storage unit(110). A reception process receives a user confirmation message from a predetermined certification server(120). An input process inputs the bio information of the user in response to the user confirmation message. A comparison process compares the bio information with the bio certification information by referring to the storage unit. A transmission process transmits the user certification message to the certification server when the bio information is identical with the bio certification information.
