A DMB(Digital Multimedia Broadcasting) transmitting method and a system therefor are provided to allow a user to easily view DMB through a general terminal without buying a high-price terminal which supports the DMB by transmitting DMB data from the terminal, which supports the DMB, to the terminal which does not support the DMB. The first user terminal(410) does not support DMB, and transmits a certain DMB data request signal to a base station(420). The base station(420) receives the DMB data request signal and transmits a DMB data transmission signal corresponding to the DMB data request signal to the second user terminal(430). The second user terminal(430) supports the DMB, receives the DMB data transmission signal, and transmits certain DMB data to the base station(420). The base station(420) receives the DMB data, and transmits the received DMB data to the first user terminal(410). The first user terminal(410) receives the DMB data and outputs the received DMB data.
