A theft-proof device for a tail gate latch of a vehicle is provided to prevent a trim cover from being detached from a trim by a tool without permission, by the interaction of a locking groove and a locking hole which are formed on an emergency lever and a latch plate respectively. An anti-rotation rod(11) is installed on the rear surface of a trim cover(9) which is detachably mounted on an operation hole formed on a trim. A locking groove and a locking hole, to which the anti-rotation rod is inserted and locked, are formed on an emergency lever(4) and a latch plate(5), respectively. Plural locking stepped portions and arrow-head locking projections are formed on the rear surface of the trim cover.
