An intrusion sensing and security system using a camera and an infrared sensor of a mobile phone is provided to protect lives and properties of users at low cost, by adding software image analysis/comparison algorithm to a mobile communication terminal. A mobile phone camera(160) is driven by a command from a camera manipulation unit(120) and periodically takes images of a monitoring zone. An image comparison/analysis unit(110) analyzes the variations of the images from the mobile phone camera. When an intrusion is detected, a central processor(100) generates an alarm sound using a speaker(150) and flash light using a night flash(170). Then, the mobile phone camera takes a still image or moving pictures of the monitoring zone and stores the images on an image storage unit(130). The images are transmitted to a security service provider or a user by using a communication module(140). |
