SELF-SUPPORTING PNEUMATIC RUN FLAT TIRES

摘要

A self-supporting type pneumatic run flat tire is provided to secure a run-flat function by optimizing position and gauge of an insert rubber of a side wall unit and improve an expanding function by having an insert rubber. A self-supporting type pneumatic run flat tire comprises a tread unit; a side wall unit; a bead unit; an insert rubber(16) disposed between an inner liner at the inner side of the tire and a carcass forming the skeleton of the tire; a maximal gauge of the insert rubber disposed at a second length of three regions divided from belt layers(20,21) along a bead wire(15); a minimal gauge of the side wall unit disposed at a border between a first length and the second length; and a reinforcing sheet added between the side wall unit and the outermost carcass.
