<p>#CMT# #/CMT# The synchronisation procedure consists of measuring during each thermodynamic cycle a value for the pressure inside at least one cylinder chamber, detecting an indicatrix for the volume of the chamber, memorising the pressure value at a reference point such as top dead centre and comparing it with a reference value to produce a synchronisation signal. Before the comparison is made, where the memorised pressure value is smaller than the reference value the latter is replaced by the detected value, and where it is greater the reference value is replaced by the detected value. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# Synchronising an i.c. engine control unit. #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The procedure gives simpler and more effective synchronisation. #CMT#DESCRIPTION OF DRAWINGS : #/CMT# The drawing shows a flow chart of the synchronisation procedure.
