A diaper having sheet part with a wrinkled region is provided to minimize contact surface with skin, to maximize absorption capacity for excretion by increased surface of the wrinkled region, to keep away the excretion from skin, to prevent skin problems caused by excretion and to improve skin protection effect. The diaper(10) having a sheet part with a wrinkled region for maximizing absorption capacity and improving skin protection comprises: sheet layers(12) having a wrinkled region(13), which comprises an inner sheet layer, a liquid impermeable outer sheet, and an absorbing layer between inner and outer sheet containing resins with high absorbing capacity; an elastic flap part around a leg(11); a band part(15) making elasticity in a lateral direction; and a fixing part(14) such as a tape fastener.
