The invention relates to a fitting for a vehicle seat, especially for an automotive seat. Said fitting comprises a first fitting element (11), a second fitting element (12) linked with the first fitting element (11) so as to drive it, and an eccentric (26, 27) for driving a rolling off movement of the second fitting element (12) on the first fitting element (11). The eccentric is defined by at least one driving ring (26) and two wedge segments (27) which are braced against each other. The driving ring (26) encloses the wedge segments (27) which rest with their exterior on the driving ring (26) with at least one outer supporting line (33).
