An air blower unit with a cartridge type air filter for a vehicle is provided to prevent a secondary damage generated due to introduction of foreign substances into a blower when an air filter is exchanged. An air blower unit with a cartridge type air filter for a vehicle includes an air filter(100), and a casing(200). The air filter includes a push button switch(120), and a screen(130). The push button switch is disposed at one side of a filter member, and resiliently supported by a resilient means at a predetermined height. The screen is resiliently wounded around an upper end of the push button switch. The casing includes a blower for introducing the air into the vehicle, and has an opening formed at an upper side of the blower. The air filter is detachably installed at the opening in a lateral direction.
