The device has a shutter (16) occupying an active position, in which it contacts a guide rail (6) extending along a longitudinal direction, and a retracted position, in which it is spaced from the rail to allow a foot of a seat (14) to contact the rail. The shutter is elastically deformable along a transversal direction (30) and includes an elastomer structure projecting on reinforcement cores (22). A section of the shutter tapers up to a trailing edge (18) contacting the rail when the shutter is in the active position. The shutter rests on a concave guiding surface (3) of a base wall (2).
