Provided is an emulsion containing a physiologically active substance, which serves as an oral drug carrier that allows simple and highly efficient intake of various kinds of physiological substances including immuno-restorative substances and pharmaceutically active substances, via oil drop absorption in a digestive tract. The emulsion containing an physiologically active substance is an oil droplet-in-water type emulsion in which fine oil droplets to be adsorbed in an animal digestive tract are dispersed. The physiologically active substance is included in the oil droplets in the emulsion in which the fine oil droplets are dispersed. Additionally, the physiologically active substance forms a very fine dispersion phase by itself or together with a small amount of water via the action of an oil-soluble emulsifier present in the fine oil droplets, so that it is present as inclusion in the oil phase.
