A welding method for assembling a car body, which can implement a car body manufacturing process continuously by breaking up welding positions corresponding to the laser welding process in plural spot welding processes when a laser welding process is broken down during a welding process, is provided. A welding method for assembling a car body comprises the steps of: carrying out laser welding when facilities of a laser welding process(a fifth process) are normal and confirming action time when the facilities are not normal when welding a plurality of panels to manufacture the car body; operating selection buttons to stop the laser welding process and apply spot welding when the action time is a set time or more; performing welding operation after breaking up working positions of the laser welding process into spot welding when the selection buttons are operated; confirming welding conditions of the working positions of the laser welding process; and performing a spot welding process again when welding of the working positions is not completed, and completing an assembling process when welding of the working positions is completed.
