Non-flammable fumigant formulation of ethyl formate

Disclosed herein is a packaged fumigant product comprising a pressurised vessel containing up to about 22 wt% of ethyl formate combined with liquid carbon dioxide such that upon release from the pressurised vessel said fumigant is non-flammable while at least retaining the efficacy of said ethyl formate.
