A curtain track system including an curtain track (1) extruded, pultruded or formed from a suitable metal or plastic material, the track having formed integrally therewith or attached thereto a longitudinal recess or channel (2) releasably engaged by a frictional clipping action with either an end of a bracket fixed to a surface or an end of a connector adapted for connection to a wall bracket, the recess or channel having a lip (9) along the edge of the recess over which lip the end is frictionally engaged.
