A tub 1, shown from above, has side wall 2 and screens with apertures 4, typically at the tub bottom 3. Typically the tub 1 rotates. A toothed reducing assembly 5 has its rotation axis off-centred from that of tub 1. An agitator 10 with shaft 12 having blades is rotated by motor 11 about an axis which is not co-axial with that of the tub 1.
