<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thrust bearing for preventing the entry of muddy water from a gap between cases or between race portions into the bearing. <P>SOLUTION: Case gaps 70a, 70b are formed between the upper case 3 and the lower case 4. The inside case gap 70a on the radial inside of a rolling element storage space 17 is formed as a crank structure including a first inside gap portion 21, a second inside gap portion 22 and a third inside gap portion 23. The first gap portion 21 includes a labyrinth seal portion 25. The outside case gap 70b on the radial outside of the rolling element storage space 17 is formed as a crank structure including a first outside gap portion 31, a second outside gap portion 32, a third outside gap portion 33 and an outlet gap portion 43. The third gap portion 33 includes a labyrinth seal portion 35. The labyrinth seal portions 25, 35 are filled with grease 75 and served as grease reservoir portions. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
