PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing performance determining device and the like which can accurately and easily determine a printing performance of an examined printing method whose printing performance is to be determined.

SOLUTION: A printing performance determining device is provided with a color conversion table generation means which generates a color conversion table of printing by a reference printing method and printing by an examined printing method, based on a reference color signal of each patch obtained by measuring each patch of a chart composed of a plurality of patches printed by a reference printing method, and an examined color signal of each patch obtained by measuring the patch of the chart printed by the examined printing method whose printing performance is to be determined; a conversion means which converts an examined prepress data whose printing performance is to be determined, based on the color conversion table; and a determining means which determines a printing performance of the examined printing method, based on whether or not a color difference between the reference color signal corresponding to the examined prepress data before conversion by the conversion means and the examined color signal corresponding to the examined prepress data after conversion by the conversion means is within a predetermined range.
