<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical switch device that solves all problem points of an optical access network, i.e., wherein (1) a switching time is long because of a cold standby system, (2) switching between a standby system and an in-use system is disabled even if a transmission side of an OLT gets out of order, and (3) an ONU of a conventional single system can not be applied when the standby system and in-use system are completely doubled, and also to provide an optical network system using the same. <P>SOLUTION: The optical switch device comprises: a reception frame analysis section; (n×2) up and down optical switch element sections; and up and down optical switch element control sections, wherein the (n×2) up optical switch element section switches packets of an up optical signal in packet units according to a control signal of the up switch element control section, and the (n×2) down optical switch element section switches packets of a down signal in packet units according to a control signal of the down switch element control section. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
