PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotor of a simple construction that makes it possible to make a rotor magnet waterproof with certainty, and to ensure ample strength. SOLUTION: The rotor 10 is rotatably disposed in the pump chamber formed inside a water pump. The rotor 10 includes a rotor magnet 22, disposed around a rotating shaft and a first resin-molded member 14 and a second resin molded member 16 that are respectively formed around the rotating shaft and are divided into at least two. With the rotor magnet 22 being clamped between the first resin-molded member 14 and the second resin molded member 16, the first resin-molded member 14 and by jointing the second resin-molded member 16 sealed and jointed together on a plane extended in multiple directions. The sealed joints are indicated by symbols S1 and S2. The rotor magnet 22 is enclosed with the first resin-molded member 14 and the second resin-molded member 16. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
