摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To selectively attain the light emission of a plurality of light emission regions, and to prevent any dark line from being made conspicuous in a full surface light emission status or an apparent full surface light emission status, in a light emitting device where an EL element is configured as a light emitting part. SOLUTION: This light emitting device 11 is configured by forming an organic EL element 16 where an organic EL layer 14 is interposed between a transparent electrode 13 and an opposed electrode 15 as a light emitter 17, and provided with a plurality of first regions 19 and a second region 20 interposed between the first regions 19. The second region 20 is formed in such a status that a plurality of non-light emission regions 20a and light emitting regions 20b exist. The non-light emission region 20a is configured by forming a hole 13b at a portion of a transparent electrode 13. The hole 13b is formed so that its existence density can be made higher according as it is made closer to the terminal 13a of the transparent electrode 13 of the first region 19.
