METHOD, PROGRAM, AND DEVICE FOR CALCULATING SIMILARITY IN SEQUENCE DIAGRAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method, a program, and a device for calculating the similarity between two sequence diagrams. SOLUTION: Verbs are extracted from the messages of two sequence diagrams and a task flow in which they are lined up in time series is created each (s1); the similarity between the verbs extracted from the message of each sequence diagram is obtained (s2); each task flow is arranged at abscissas and ordinates, and a graph with the combination of the verbs between the abscissas and ordinates as a node is defined (s3); weighting based on the similarity between the verbs is given to the side between nodes (s4); the shortest path is obtained from a node corresponding to the set of the first verbs of each task flow to a node corresponding to the set of last verbs of each task flow in the graph (s5); and the similarity between the two sequence diagrams is calculated from the shortest path length (s6).
