Cajon comprises a cuboid case with one side serving as playing surface and, underneath its wooden plate, wires are tensioned. When the playing surface is hit, they work mutually with the playing surface to make a sound. An insulating element (9) is attached to each wire (3). Insulating elements are situated at the upper and lower ends of the wire. They are made of rubber-like flat material and are fixed vertically to a surface or underside running vertically to the wires and are bent to a right angle. The free L-arm (12) which is not used for fastening, lies flexibly on each respecive wire end. A tensioning part (5) is fixed to the end of each wire which can be moved by means of tensioning screws (6) in the lengthwise direction of the wires in order to adjust their tension. The insulating elements are fixed to the tensioning part near the end of the wire.
|
