A pixel circuit using a dual mode organic light emitting device is provided to reduce the swing range of a gate voltage of a drive transistor, thereby reducing the swing range of a data voltage. A pixel circuit includes a P-type drive transistor(MD) applying a current corresponding to the voltage between a source and a gate to a cathode electrode of a dual mode organic emitting device, and a capacitor(Cst) applying a voltage corresponding to a data voltage to the gate of the drive transistor. A first transistor applies the data voltage to the capacitor according to a scanning signal. A first terminal of the P-type drive transistor is connected to the cathode electrode, and a first power source is applied to a second terminal.
