<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a user from forgetting to carry out paper-outputting after he/she executes secret printing. <P>SOLUTION: There is provided a printing system wherein a host computer and a printer are connected via a network, and printing is not made unless a predetermined password is inputted to the printer.
